She used to be the smartest in the class.
I used to play football once a week until my injury.

We use to be used to when we want to show that we are familiar with something. 

She‘s used to running long distance, she trains everyday
I‘m not used to driving an automatic car.
I have lived here for 5 years so I am used to the weather

To get used to something, shows that you are currently learning about the process, and becoming familiar.

I am getting used to it but it is not easy.
It took me a while to get used to the new pprocess
